Color your eggs with an easy, non-toxic bath in our plant-based colors (because by the time you’ve finished this method, it’ll be summer).
You need:
White Eggs (hard-boiled or hollowed out)
Plant-Based Food Colors
Small Bowls & Spoons
White Vinegar
Warm Water
Sprinkle the contents of a Plant-Based Food Color packet of your choosing over 1-2 Tbsp of water. Allow to bloom for a few minutes, then stir well.
Pour 1 cup warm water over the color, then add 1 tsp vinegar. Give it one more good stir, making sure the color is fully dissolved. If you’re making more than one color, repeat these steps for each hue.
Using a spoon, gently lower eggs into the color bath. For softer tones, allow to soak for a few hours. For richer tones, allow eggs to soak overnight.
